Hospice & palliative care massage is a unique & growing field requiring hospice educated therapists. Learn about a holistic approach to hospice nursing, the hospice philosophy, become sensitized tot he stages & experience if the dying person. Discuss & practice the benefit of touch in the dying process and how to adapt therapeutic bodywork to meet the needs of the hospice client.

Using long flowing and circular strokes, often on different areas of the body at once, we create a feeling of being gently rocked on water. With loving arms and hands, this flowing energy enables the receiver to enter into a state of deep, dreamlike relaxation and wellness. This is the place from which healing begins. Besides learning incredible new strokes that can be incorporated into any of your treatments, we will learn to radiate the Aloha Spirit and explore some thoughts of Hawaiian healing.
