Reflexology Program - 75 Hours

Therapeutic Hand And Foot Reflexology


Reflexology is the application of systematic pressure to specific points on the hands, feet and body for the purpose of relaxation and a return to homeostasis or balance.

Objectives: Students will be able to run a client based practice, have an understanding of diversified methods of Reflexology, i.e.: The Ingham Method, Zone Therapy, Vitaflex Method and reflexology to meridians. Practitioners will skillfully and intuitively work with their clients to assist them as the body readjusts to a more relaxed and peaceful state. Reflexology may be administered as an adjunct to other bodywork or as a single modality.

REFLEXOLOGY THEORY & APPLICATION -  50 HOURS
Students will learn the history of reflexology tracing from Egypt to application today as a healing science. Students will learn how to systematically apply pressure to the feet and hands to aid in healing the entire body and they will have an understanding of how this is communicated in the body.
                        
ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY - 25 HOURS
Students will learn physiology, anatomy and pathology of the body as it relates to working on the hands and feet. The importance of systems of the body, i.e.: endocrine, circulatory, CNS, excretory and others will be studied.
